Pochi giorni fa mi e’ scaduto il dominio Tripcafe.
Quest’anno ero convinto di non avere nessun blog.
Nessun sito, diario o quelle robe li.
Non mi sarei mai aspetato di ricevere cosi’ tanti messaggi.

E pure un sacco di mail.
Chi mi chiede che fine ho fatto.
Chi incazzato non riesce piu’ a scaricare la guida dell’Australia.
E allora eccoci qua.
Australia.
Fremantle capitolo terzo.
Negli ultimi mesi sono successe un sacco di cose.
Dopo essere rientrato in Italia per Natale, sono tornato in Thailandia per qualche mese.
Sulla mitica isoletta di Koh Tao divento Underwater Videographer.
Davvero bellissimo.
Un monte (o mare) di immersioni.
Con una videocamera in mano.
A girare documentari quando ti va bene.
A riprendere sub neopatentati quando ti va male.
Un’esperienza spettacolare.
Un lavoro che spero di tornare a fare a tempo pieno una volta portati a termine i progetti che ho in testa.
E visto che ci vorra’ un po’ di tempo…
Respiro profondo.
Succede che a gennaio.
In pieno mare di burrasca emotiva.
A un passo dalla Nuova Zelanda.
Con un lavoro possibile come dive master in Costarica.
E con la di base consapevolezza di avere le idee piu’ incasinate di un bidone di mattoncini Lego.
Con Bruce e con l’Old Fire Station di Fremantle tentiamo la difficile carta della Sponsorship.
E succede che dopo sei mesi di carteggi tra immigrazione, Fremantle, Migration Agent, Thailandia, casa etc.
E aspetta e aspetta.
E alzati la mattina a controllare la mail.
Che lo fai anche il sabato o la domenica…
Quando lo sai che ogni burocrate si sta riprendendo dalla stonata del weekend…
E al lavoro non puo’ fisicamente esserci.
E aspetta e aspetta.
Che alla fine il visto e’ arrivato.
Un ragazzo inglese, una volta, intervistato da un canale australiano disse: “Il processo di sponsorship non va inteso come una corsa dei cento metri piani. E’ piuttosto comparabile ad una maratona ad ostacoli”.
Penso che nessuno possa trovare una definizione migliore.
E allora eccoci qui.

P.s.: a differenze delle altre volte e degli altri viaggi questa volta il primo mese e’ stato davvero difficile. Un’inaspettata nostalgia di casa prima di tutto. E forse l’idea iniziale di ritrovare esattamente la stessa e medesima situazione di quando ero partito per tornare a a casa.
Ora pero’ e’ tutto rientrato nell’ordine delle cose.

And a lot of e-mail as well.
All wondering what I was doing.
People asking me why they cannot download my Australian Guide anymore.
So here we are.

Fremantle third chapter.
In recent months a lot of things have happened.
After being returned to Italy for Christmas, I returned to Thailand for a few months.
On the mythical island of Koh Tao i become Underwater Videographer.
Really amazing.
A mountain (or sea) of dives.
With a video camera in hand.
To do documentaries if you’re lucky.
A spectacular experience.
Unbelievable people.
Oceans Below, my shops, literally rocks!
A job that I hope to go back fully time once completed projects in my head.
It will take ’some’ time …
Deep breath.
That happens in January.
Right in the sea of emotional storm.
Just a step from New Zealand.
With a possible job as a dive master in Costa Rica.
And with the basic knowledge of having more messy ideas than a bin of Lego bricks.
With Bruce and the Old Fire Station Fremantle we attempt the difficult card of Australian Sponsorship.
It happens that after six months of correspondence between immigration, Fremantle, Migration Agent, Thailand, etc home.
